The entire process of consultation to completion takes, on average, 60 minutes.

Before beginning treatment, your nurse at Gold Coast Plastic Surgery will consult you based on your goals and outcomes for your dermal filler treatment. Your nurse will provide advice on how best to treat your concern and will assess your facial structure to determine the best injectable techniques. Then, you will undergo a consultation which will provide instruction on whether to proceed based on numerous factors including risk.

All the available products will be explained to you in detail so you and your nurse can decide which product will help you achieve the best possible results. Please note that due to TGA guidelines, we are unable to advertise the brand names of dermal filler on our website. However, we stock the leading brands of all injectable fillers and are able to discuss these freely during your consultation.

During your injectable treatment, your nurse will strategically inject the dermal filler product into your treatment area to achieve balanced, symmetrical and natural results. You will be provided with aftercare instructions to follow for the next 48 hours and can ask any questions at any time during your appointment.

Do dermal fillers hurt?

The injections may feel like a slight pinch as they enter the treatment area and you may feel pressure as the gel substance is injected. To avoid pain we always use a numbing agent on the treatment area.
