Before your consultation
Before your plastic surgery consultation, we ask that you send us photos. Our patient care team will advise you on how to take the photos and from what angles. Then, Dr Doyle will review your images before your consultation and advise whether or not surgery is a suitable option for you.
What can I expect at my first visit with Dr Doyle?
At your initial consultation with your plastic surgeon, you’ll be invited to share information about your area of concern and your preferred result. Dr Doyle will assess this along with any information you provide him to provide an honest, professional opinion about your surgical options. The potential risks and complications will be explained to you in detail, as well as how to minimise these from occurring.
In your first appointment, you will:
- Spend time with your surgeon, nurse and client coordinator
- Have your photos taken
- Undergo a physical assessment
- Discuss your medical history (including any medications and supplements you’re currently taking)
- See before and after photos of previous patients
- Explore your recommended surgical options
- Learn about your surgery in more detail
- Explore associated risks and complications
- Choose size options (for breast augmentation surgery)
- View expected results with Crisalix 3D imaging (for selected procedures)
- Find out pricing and potential surgery dates
- Get all your questions answered
Your initial appointment should take approximately 1 hour. This allows time for you to develop a strong relationship with your surgeon and your client coordinator.
Initial Consultation
You are more than welcome to bring along a supportive relative or friend to meet Dr Doyle and help you decide which surgical option is best. If there are Medicare item numbers applicable, Dr Doyle will advise his team to check if any Medicare or private health insurance rebates apply.
You can access our patient resources to find out more about the potential costs involved with your surgery:
If you decide to commit to surgery, our team will schedule your procedure and accept the required deposit.
Pre-Operative Consultation
With all cosmetic procedures, a second complimentary consultation with Dr Doyle is needed for planning, customisation and to review the details of your surgery. We encourage you to bring your signed consent forms along and be open to taking more photographs if they are required.
This is an in-person consult only. If you are a travelling patient we will arrange for this to occur within a close time frame of your procedure.
