What to Expect
During your complimentary consultation, your registered nurse will assess your chin and facial anatomy to determine the suitable method of treatment. Your options for changing the size, length, projection, shape and symmetry will be discussed while considering your treatment goals. Your registered nurse will then develop a personalised treatment plan specific to you.
Once your consultation is complete, you will have photos taken. These will be stored confidentially for our registered nurse to assess your progress.
Before your treatment, your chin will be cleaned thoroughly using a medical-grade, skin-safe cleaner and a numbing agent will be applied to minimise any discomfort. Your treatment product is mixed with an anaesthetic to help with any discomfort. For topical anaesthetic, it’ll take about 15 minutes for the numbing agent to work, then your treatment will begin.
Your treatment will be focused on the areas that you wish to change, which can be a combination of the medial chin, the lateral chin, and/or the underside of the chin. You will be encouraged to assess your results with a handheld mirror and can suggest areas where you may prefer to see more volume.
Once your treatment is complete, you will receive your aftercare instructions and a complimentary follow-up appointment will be arranged within the next fortnight.

If you have a low pain tolerance or are concerned about the pain you might feel, please discuss it with your nurse. Your nurse will apply a numbing agent to the treatment area to assist with pain relief.
What’s the recovery period like?
In the days following your chin enhancement treatment, you may experience slight bruising and swelling. This will generally be resolved within a matter of days.
What are the risks?
It’s important to first discuss in consultation your medical history and understand the possible risks. Some risks of chin volumiser can include:

Are the results immediate?
You will notice the effects of the dermal volumiser generally immediately after your treatment. As there may be some swelling present, we ask you to wait up to five days to notice the final results.
