Dr Stephen Kleid is a Senior Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon, graduating from Melbourne University’s RMH Clinical School with an MBBS in 1977, Dr Kleid obtained FRACS in Otolaryngology in 1985. With a career spanning over four decades, he has served in various prestigious institutions, including Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital, Royal Children’s Hospital, and St. Vincent’s Hospital. Dr. Kleid further honed his skills as an ENT/Head & Neck Surgical Fellow at the University of Florida, USA, under Prof Nicholas Cassisi in 1986.
Since 1987, Dr Kleid has been in private practice, assuming leadership roles such as Head of Unit at Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute and Senior Head & Neck Surgeon at Royal Melbourne Hospital. His contributions extend beyond clinical practice, including serving as Convener of the Head & Neck Section at the RACS Annual Scientific Meeting in Melbourne in 1988 and holding positions such as Head of ENT/HN Surgery at Royal Melbourne Hospital and ENT/Head & Neck surgeon at Western Hospital.
Having performed over 10,000 ear, nose and throat surgeries, Dr Stephen Kleid is highly respected amongst his medical peers and is thought to be one of the most Senior Ear, Nose & Throat Surgeons in Australia.
